tor is an unprecedented re-telling of the old fable of the Tooth Fairy. Hash has created a very chilling, supernatural, and horrific tale based on one that should be trusted and safe. The Tooth Collector is anything but that.This is a short quick read but it hits all of the gory horror points that keep you wanting to see what happens next.The story feeds on the heart by telling the story of Tim who had lost his wife, leaving him to raise two little boys. The many unthought of events that occur in a young child’s life pull at the psyche of this father who was not used to having to deal with such things as his little boy losing his first tooth. This is where the Tooth Collector makes his appearance. The story just gets creepier and spookier from there.Really good short read and will give you your horror, gore, and creep fix. I do recommend it and thank Hash for allowing me to read the book as an ARC in return for an honest review.

to miss a thing. The cliffhangers always get me in the end because I’m deeply invested in the story. What intrigues me the most was the father was dreaming about the Tooth Collector was real. I’m going to do more further investigation by reading it again to better understand what happened. Iler.

ory, we lost sight of some of the initial plot points, i.e. Eve and her pregnancy, which was a gigantic missed opportunity. She was referenced a few times throughout, but the author focused on the onslaught of witches and demons, and the nonstop chaos that befell Billy, our main character. He is just a down on his luck type, with a crummy job, unable to keep a house over his head. So he decides to attend an outing with some of her friends, and they start playing around with black magic. I mean, haven’t we all had a few drinks, taking an ancient object, and started chanting magic spells at it to see what happens? So, needless to say, all hell breaks loose, people are killed, terrible things happen, lots of action and violence, even some funny moments, and the story just gets wild. But, as I stated earlier, the author jumped through the introduction of Billy and Eve, and that should have been a huge part of the story. And that took away from the eventual impact of everything that would happen, as we didn’t get to know anyone all that well. I personally hated Kevin and his incessant use of the n-word throughout. His character must have said it a hundred times, and it was really annoying and unnecessary. I understand that he was being written a certain way and was supposed to obnoxious, but I would have preferred this aspect to be really tapered down. So anything bad that happened to him didn’t bother me in the least, for that sole reason. Overall, it was pretty good and had an equal amount of things that I disliked versus what worked for me. I would recommend new readers try out The Mirror before this, to get a better idea of this author’s style.

ove me some paranormal horrors, so I jumped on this one quickly; I was not disappointed. The opening scene in this book got me amped up, and I was immediately hooked! I even had a few goosebumps.The book follows the MMC Billy Cheston, who is a business consultant that can’t seem to get his chance to shine. All of his friends are super successful, while he has a kid on the way, barely scrapping by and about to lose his job and house. Frustrated and bitter, he looks forward to a weekend getaway on a boat when all hell breaks loose. A book brought by his friend Kevin is used to summon a demon, and things go sideways, and a deal is made. Three souls in three sunrises, and the world is yours. What could go wrong? Um, everything!Hash Black kept the story fast-paced and action-packed, with a stunning twist at the end. While I did enjoy the book, I am a splatterpunk fan, so I am left wanting more, more, more! His book isn’t for the faint of heart, though; there is blood and gore galore! I will return to read more of his books because I enjoyed his writing style and pace.Thank you to Hash Black, who gave me a digital copy of Signed in Blood in exchange for an honest review. d then absolute shock! This is one horror book that is going to set (or unsettle) with me for a while.A few grammatical errors that are quickly overlooked because the story is so fast-paced and well told.For fans of horror reading I highly recommend this book!
