Horror Novel and Novella Bundle: Two Stories That Consume You Slowly

Hash Black’s Horror Novel and Novella Bundle pairs two longer-form descents into psychological collapse and gothic dread. This horror novel and novella bundle is designed for readers who want sustained atmosphere, deep character unraveling, and horror that tightens its grip chapter by chapter—rather than releasing you after a single scare.

Where short horror strikes fast, these stories linger. They burrow. They change the way familiar spaces feel once the lights go out.

What’s Included in The Bundle

  • Signed in Blood
A full-length psychological horror novel steeped in obsession, violence, and moral decay. As boundaries erode and loyalties fracture, every decision carries a cost written in flesh. This is slow-burning horror where consequences compound, and nothing washes clean.

  • The Mirror
A tightly focused horror novella that turns reflection into revelation. Identity fractures as the familiar becomes hostile, and the self staring back may not want to stay contained. Intimate, claustrophobic, and deeply unsettling.

What to Expect

This horror novel and novella bundle blends psychological horror with gothic tension, offering two distinct reading experiences united by atmosphere and emotional weight. Expect:

  • Deep character-driven dread

  • Escalating psychological pressure

  • Horror rooted in obsession, identity, and irreversible choices

If you’re drawn to the slow corruption of Shirley Jackson’s longer works, the psychological intensity of Ramsey Campbell, or Stephen King’s darker novels and novellas, this bundle delivers sustained terror without compromise.

Two books. Two descents.
One horror novel and novella bundle that doesn’t rush, and doesn’t forgive.

  1. I really enjoyed this book. . . Billy and Kevin had the ride of their lives but not in a good way.
I don’t want to give away any spoilers. I will just say that spiders will forever haunt me no matter what form they come in. . . and I truly appreciate the goat in the story. now that you’re curious, if you haven’t read this book yet, you need to grab a copy.

  2. 3.5 stars. This was pretty good. The pacing moved too quickly, and after the first portion of the story, we lost sight of some of the initial plot points, i.e. Eve and her pregnancy, which was a gigantic missed opportunity. She was referenced a few times throughout, but the author focused on the onslaught of witches and demons, and the nonstop chaos that befell Billy, our main character. He is just a down on his luck type, with a crummy job, unable to keep a house over his head. So he decides to attend an outing with some of her friends, and they start playing around with black magic. I mean, haven’t we all had a few drinks, taking an ancient object, and started chanting magic spells at it to see what happens? So, needless to say, all hell breaks loose, people are killed, terrible things happen, lots of action and violence, even some funny moments, and the story just gets wild. But, as I stated earlier, the author jumped through the introduction of Billy and Eve, and that should have been a huge part of the story. And that took away from the eventual impact of everything that would happen, as we didn’t get to know anyone all that well. I personally hated Kevin and his incessant use of the n-word throughout. His character must have said it a hundred times, and it was really annoying and unnecessary. I understand that he was being written a certain way and was supposed to obnoxious, but I would have preferred this aspect to be really tapered down. So anything bad that happened to him didn’t bother me in the least, for that sole reason. Overall, it was pretty good and had an equal amount of things that I disliked versus what worked for me. I would recommend new readers try out The Mirror before this, to get a better idea of this author’s style.

  4. Do not read this book just before going to bed unless you want your dreams plagued by demons, imps and spiders. Thousands of spiders!

I was totally blindsided by the twist towards the end. I did not see that coming. Still, what some people will do for a successful life………………….

  5. I was gifted a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. Man, I gotta say there were several parts in this book that I was actually scared. I had to stop and look around to see if it was safe to continue reading! This was my first Hash Black book and I enjoyed his style. I’ll be checking his other books for a future read.
