At Hash Black’s Bookstore, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Because each format is fulfilled by a third party (BookVault for paperbacks, BookFunnel for ebooks & audiobooks), different rules apply. By purchasing, you agree to the following:
1. Paperbacks (Fulfilled by BookVault)
– All paperbacks are printed on demand via BookVault. Because of this, no returns or refunds are offered for change of mind or incorrect choices of product (format, cover, etc.).
– BookVault explicitly states that retail print-on-demand orders do not offer returns from retailers.
– If your book arrives damaged, defective, or misprinted, please contact us within 14 calendar days of delivery. Provide your order number, ISBN, and clear photos of the issue.
– For valid defects, I will work with BookVault to either arrange a reprint and resend or possibly issue a refund or partial refund, depending on the nature of the problem.
– To report issues, contact BookVault via their support (e.g. customers@bookvault.app) with your order reference and the details.
2. Ebooks & Audiobooks (Fulfilled by BookFunnel)
-All digital products (ebooks and audiobooks) are delivered via BookFunnel. Because digital goods can be instantly accessed, all sales are final. No returns or refunds for change of mind.
– If there’s a technical issue (e.g. file doesn’t download properly, can’t access after purchase), contact me and BookFunnel support immediately. Provide proof of purchase and details of the issue. We will aim to provide a working version or replacement file, not a refund.
– Duplicate purchases may be considered for refunds or credit if reported immediately — at my discretion.
3. Order Cancellations
– You may request to cancel a paperback order only before printing begins. Once BookVault begins production, cancellation is generally not possible.
– For digital orders, once the product is delivered or the download link is active, cancellation is not possible.
4. Customer Responsibility
– Please review all purchase details carefully before placing your order: format, cover type, digital device compatibility, etc.
– For digital files, ensure your device/software supports the file type (e.g. epub, mobi, or whatever format provided).
5. How to Contact Us for Problems
– Always provide: order number, format, title/ISBN, and photos (for physical books) or screenshot / error description (for digital).

6. Acceptance
By completing your purchase, you agree that you understand and accept this policy:
– No returns/refunds for change of mind;
– Limited remedy for damaged/defective items;
– Different rules apply for print and digital formats depending on their fulfillment platform.
